How do you describe the apprenticeship at Venneker in three words?

Future-oriented, varied, familial

What is the Venneker Group for you?

For me, Venneker is a family business with future perspectives. The EMAS certification shows that Venneker not only looks forwards with regard to the environment, but also always optimises several further areas. The development of the apprentices here in the company is supported individually, including various seminars and internal workshops. The working atmosphere at Venneker is super. The colleagues are open and helpful, you immediately feel welcome. Joint events, weekly barbecues and a lot more strengthens our togetherness. Here TEAM is written in block capitals.

Why do you recommend an apprenticeship at Venneker?

Due to moving through the departments, you gain several interesting impressions of the various areas and get to understand the contexts within the company even better. All apprentices have regular feedback interviews during which they discuss with their supervisors what is running smoothly and where the need for improvement exists. The exchange helps a lot with your personal and professional development.

What tips do you give applicants?

You should remain open and frank during the job interview and be yourself. I can also recommend being relaxed and open for the interview and preparing it properly.

Apprenticeship completed and then?

We place great value on promoting talented employees and offering them long-term prospects. Alina has shown that she has the necessary skills and potential for being successful in the Human Resources department. We are proud to have Alina on board as a long-term employee!

What does the training programme at Venneker look like?

The training programme is easy to explain: The school-based part of the vocational training is taught in the form of block lessons at the Geno-Kolleg in Münster. The rest of the time is spent in the office. You are given responsible tasks and you can also take part in various projects.

Why do you recommend an apprenticeship at Venneker?

I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship at Venneker, as the training programme is very diverse and varied. You are involved in the day-to-day business right from the start, everyone has a sympathetic ear, no question is too much and you immediately become part of the big Venneker family!

What tips do you give applicants?

I would advise future applicants to apply to the Venneker Group in any case, even if you don't necessarily come from the agricultural sector. Your background is not a prerequisite for a good apprenticeship here. The enthusiasm for the work comes naturally and will make you passionate about Venneker.
